Over the last couple of months, Budweiser put on a fuckload of shows across Sydney to support live music. The gigs were all about getting behind the local music scene. A bunch of free shows were held at venues that shared Bud's passions for music—and each show was packed to the rafters with youthful miscreants there to enjoy the best local bands and some international acts too.

We saw Rolling Blackouts and British India play at the Lansdowne; Baro, Silent Jay, and KIMCHI PRINCI headline The Chippo; a big tenth birthday show at Oxford Art Factory; a Halloween gig; pizza and The Stiffys at Frankie’s; and Tijuana Cartel take over the Jam Gallery.

Longest “yeah boy” ever.

Sydney's music community is made up of a complex web of networked musicians. They feature on each other's albums, they play in each other's bands, they date each other, tour with each other, and even live with each other. The scene is small and the friendships are strong. Throughout the Bud Garage series, we rode along with some of the acts as they took us to watch their friend’s band. You can check out some video highlights below.
