Remember that line Jason Lee’s character had in Almost Famous where he was talking about his audience and was all, “I get people off. I look for the guy who isn't getting off, and I make him get off.” King Tuff is the humble, non-pretentious version of that guy. The man just wants everyone to party. Everyone. When we caught up with him at our Seattle Jansport Bonfire Session, he mentioned that he even loves when little kids dig his tunes: “If I can get a kid into it, man. That’s all I care about.” He also said he loves playing for an imaginary crowd in his car, which leads us to believe that King Tuff could be the last man on Earth and still continue partying like a madman. It’s in his bones.
