Watch this Mini-Doc on Tel Aviv's Vaadat Charigim

Do you know what it's like to be a band in Tel Aviv. Nah, us neither. Burger Records-signed trio Vaadat Charigim give us a glimpse…

Filmed by David Michael Shachar; e

dited by Daphni Leef and Amir Kotigaro.

Last year we got pretty excited about the video for "Ze Beseder Lefahed" by Tel Aviv band Vaadat Charigim. It has just the right amount of reverb and melancholic indie-pop nous. We're not afraid to say we know exactly zero about the music scene in Tel Aviv which makes this mini-doc about the band so interesting, quite apart from their music being cool. Shot at ANOVA studios in Tel Aviv and at Indie City festival in Jerusalem, the trio talk about what it's like to be recording while missiles are raining down on their city, the difficulties of creating art in Israel, and their decision to sing in Hebrew. Plus there's some sweet live footage. Watch it above.

Vaadat Charigim's album,The World Is Well Lost, is out on cassette on Burger Records right now. The vinyl version is imminent.
