Patrick Madsen è un ragazzo danese che si fa chiamare Sekuoia e dalla sua ha già all'attivo due EP (il secondo per la berlinese Mooncircle) ha suonato a festival minuscoli tipo il Roskilde e a fianco a gentaglia come Inc, Active Child, Washed Out, MØ, WhoMadeWho, e ha remixato Tomas Barfod.Il suo terzo EP, supportato dai nostri amici di Bad Panda Records, uscirà a inizio marzo e conterrà un featuring di Kill J e questa è la traccia che lo anticipa, ha un'aria vagamente più psichedelica e reale, in cui si sente l'eco dell'ondata neo-hippy che da qualche anno ci rende più propensi a pace amore e acidi.Abbiamo chiesto a Patrick un paio di dritte su questo pezzo e lui ci ha detto così:
"Initially I wrote this track in the summer of 2013. I was spending time writing new material in order to play a long set at Roskilde Festival. One night I was playing random stuff on this Spanish guitar, and singing through a mic with loads of reverb on, and while just singing random words, the melody and lyrics just occurred. Since then I’ve been adding new elements along the way. It’s the first track I’ve made with proper lyrics, and in a way it has been the hardest track for me to produce."Buon ascolto:
