There's a Giant Party in Town and They're "Tongue Tied Lightning"

If it's good enough for Elton John, it's good enough for us.

It's not that we're totally enthralled by Elton John. He is, however, a deity of pop music past (and present), and so when his ears prick up ours also do too. Tonight he plays London band Giant Party – a group one can assume enjoy bashing their way through the night and into the early hours – so fuck ourselves backwards and into his loving arms, because we are listening. Or at least we will be later, when their song "Ambulances" is spun around on John's Beats One radio show.

As ahead of the game as we are however, today we premiere the band's more recent and latest single "Tongue Tied Lightening". Think about Spandau Ballet. Think about every night you have fallen in love. Think about films and beaches and pink lights and when time stands still and you'll be somewhere close to capturing what the track feels and sounds like.

Listen above, pre-order that shit here, then catch Giant Party at the following dates should you so choose.

Wed 19 July – The Lexington, London
Thu 3 August – The Horn, St Albans
Sat 5 August – The Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
Sat 19 August – Birthdays, London
