Jeremih Spent Cinco de Mayo Making a Surprise EP Called 'Cinco De MihYo'

The singer says he put the five-track EP together after being "inspired" by the holiday.

Jeremih, Chance the Rapper collaborator and man who gets kicked off of tours, released a surprise EP last night in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Cinco De MihYo is a five-track with plenty of Spanish guitar and Spanglish lyrics from the Chicagoan singer, particularly on "Papasito" and "Mi Amor."

"I was inspired by the holiday and put this project together in the last 24 hours," he said in a press release. "I walked in the studio and my producer Bongo was playing some guitar vibes. After a few shots of tequila and some good company, I decided to do something different for my fans."
