Watch Harry Styles Play "Sign of the Times" and "Ever Since New York" on SNL

He played all five-plus minutes of his first single, for some reason.

Harry Styles, the longtime boy band member and sudden Robbie Williams impersonator, was the musical guest on last night's Saturday Night Live, taking his solo career to the masses with performances of the already-released "Sign of the Times" and a new track, "Ever Since New York." He played all five-plus minutes of the former, an inexplicably long song could have done with some cropping for a Saturday night audience. "Ever Since New York" turns out to be an non-committal acoustic track that starts out nowhere and wanders around for a while. It sounds like the song that a college freshman would strum out on the quad before saying, "Yeah, I wrote that; I was really thinking about feelings."
