Listen to the New Remix of Gucci Mane and Drake's "Both," Now With Added Lil Wayne

The ‘Return of East Atlanta Santa’ cut now has Wayne filling in the “high” part of “drunk and [...] high."

As far as I remember, last Christmas was horrible. Donald Trump was prepping for the presidency, George Michael died on Christmas Day, and it was so hot on the east coast that everyone was thinking about global warming. The only way to really get into any sort of Christmas spirit was by listening to Gucci Mane's Return of East Atlanta Santa. There, Saint Guwop brought us joy and happiness, drawled over trap beats and jingling bells, and all was well, briefly.

The hit was "Both," a Metro Boomin-produced collaboration with Drake. The Torontonian sang about how the weed and the booze had made him emotional. "I need you in my life," he drawled. "Shout out Yachty, but this ain't a Lil Boat." Gucci was his foil, less careful: "I got so many felonies, I might can't never go to Canada / But Drake said he gon' pull some strings, so let me check my calendar." This morning, a new remix of the track dropped, with Lil Wayne stepping onto the first verse to fulfill the "high" part of "drunk and high."

"I got class, I got trash, I got bills, I got pills / Heard them boys gon' write me off / Hope they also writing they wills," he raps, before going off about "Kobe Bryant eighths" he smokes in LA. Check it out below.
