Snoop Dogg Will Induct Tupac Shakur Into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

An all-star tribute to the late rapper is still yet to be locked down.

Snoop Dogg, cannabis enthusiast and thorn in the president's side, will induct his late friend Tupac Shakur into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Brooklyn on April 7. The news was confirmed Sunday morning by Rolling Stone after an early report from TMZ.

Initial reports also suggested that Snoop was excited to "lead a group of West Coast rappers in paying tribute to Pac," with Dr Dre close to signing on for a three-song performance at the ceremony. But Rolling Stone say that the line-up for any tribute has not been cemented.

As you may remember, Tupac was one of the few artists selected for induction this year who was not selected by your step-dad. ELO, Joan Baez, Pearl Jam, Journey, and Yes are will join the rapper in the Rock Hall with Nile Rogers receiving the Award for Musical Excellence.
