Sean Spicer Once Felt That "Daft Funk" Had Sold Out, Daft Punk Remain Unchallenged

Old tweets from the new White House Press Secretary have gone "Around the World."

New White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer–on top of apparently having an uncanny, inhuman face–is a big fan of French house. Tweets unearthed from Spicer's past have also revealed his vendetta against Dippin' Dots, but that Spicer was into the Ed Banger era tells a story of spurned fandom that anyone can relate to.

We're not sure if Spicer was talking about Daft Punk's performance that year as he's clearly referring to some other band called Daft Funk, possibly named after Daft Punk's legendary single "Da Funk." He could also be referring to a single by veteran session bassist and Daft Punk collaborator Nathan East. Either way, Past Spicer was shocked that the band or song or what have you weren't making the most of their time on this platform.

What's more is that Daft Funk pissed-off longtime fan Spicer with their helmets, with the current Press Secretary saying that they need to "grow up." If we were Daft Funk, we'd consider that a major insult. It's a good thing Spicer has no bad things to say about Daft Punk, although even he probably finds the Tron Legacy soundtrack to be wasted potential.
