Toronto Hardcore Greats No Warning Return with a New Anthem "Friends in High Places"

Members of Fucked Up get to flexin' on the new track from their forthcoming flexi.

Toronto hardcore veterans No Warning have taken stage few times since disbanding in 2005. Two years ago, the band decided to get back together and record a seven inch, Resurrection of the Wolf, followed by an appearance at a fest in Belgium in 2014. This year, the group emerged for a select string of gigs from New Jersey to California, playing with bands like Incendiary and Xibalba. Last month, they made their first Canadian appearance in over a decade at Heart Fest in Quebec. Shortly after, the band took to the UK and Netherlands.

As a thank you to fans for the recent gigs, No Warning is releasing a new flexi on Lockin’ Out Records, a collaborative effort with Stussy. “Friends in High Places” is a crushing three minutes, reminiscent of their renowned 2002 release Ill Blood. Although there are no signs pointing towards a new record, at least we have this track to get by in the meantime.

Take a listen to the new track below. Friends in High Places will be released as a limited pressing of 500 at the end of the month. You can pre-order it here.
