We Went to Soundwave To Find The Most Popular 'Slightly Christian’ Band

Forget Slayer vs Metallica, we asked the more important question, the Color Morale or Icon For Hire?

Forget Halford vs Dickinson, Ozzy Sabbath vs Dio Sabbath or Metallica vs Slayer, we braved the heat at Melbourne's Soundwave on the weekend to ask the most important question in hard rock – Icon For Hire vs The Color Morale?

On a lineup that included Slipknot, Faith No More, Soundgarden, Judas Priest, Ministry and Lamb of God we walked among the black band t-shirted hordes to discover who was more popular; the 'kind of Christian band' Icon For Hire or The Color Morale, the most metal 'non Christian' band made up members who all identify as Christian.
