Watch Beau's Ethereal Video for "Animal Kingdom"

Heather and Emma run free like two Lisbon sisters escaped from the pages of 'The Virgin Suicides.'

Beau shot by Viki Forshee

Heather and Emma—the beautiful, follically attached duo that make up NYC band Beau—return with new single "Animal Kingdom," a driving indie-pop tune with just a dollop of folk in Heather's quivering melodic delivery. . According to the pair "the song is about not being able to match up to the untouchable ways of the animal kingdom—better to be part of it than to fight it." As such the video, premiering below, finds the pair making the woods their home, dancing along wooded paths like two Lisbon sisters escaped from the pages of The Virgin Suicides to run free.

The girls had this to say: "In an attempt to overthrow the animal kingdom, we ran out of breath because we don't have wings.”
