Ex-Secret Machines Singer Drops New Solo Track "Everything's Under Waves" as Cosmicide

Who doesn't love a big bottom?

Last summer we got super excited because Brandon Curtis, formerly Tripping Daisy and Secret Machines (with his brother Benjamin of School of Seven Bells), and years-long Interpol touring member, announced his solo project Cosmicide. He also opened for Interpol on a bunch of dates so it was awesome to see him front and center again. In fact Noisey premiered his first video for "A New Disaster," which seems to have vanished from the world wide web, but whatever! You can still listen to the audio here and above is another new one and the announcement of a month-long weekly residency at Pianos in New York, starting this evening. As you'd expect from Curtis, it's a gauzy kind of indie rock that also manages to be propulsive with a heavy bottom. And who doesn't love a big bottom?
