Midnight Juggernauts Turn 10 and Give Away "Turning Electric" for Free

Download it!

To celebrate a decade in existence Midnight Juggernauts have released a new EP, Aerials, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Aboriginal Benefits Foundation—to support “facilities or projects for the benefit or welfare of Aboriginal communities in Australia.”

Apparently the Melbourne group's passion for the charity “stems from strong cultural relationships fostered between family members and various outback indigenous communities over the decades.” Having spent the past year split up all over the world, for this release the trio—who haven't released a record since 2013's Uncanny Valley—step away from the synth, psych-rock sonics that characterized their previous output.

“Turning Electric,” does just what it says on the tin: it's a dark club track combining hard-hitting beats, stuttered synth stabs, and softly spaced out vocals. And you can download it for free above. Thanks MJ! Happy 10 years!

Aerials is out now via Siberia Records.
