So it turns out that Marley Marl, in addition to being one of the founding fathers of hip-hop, is also a regular father. He's got a son named M. Will, and he's a pretty rad producer in his own right, stuffing his tracks with futuristic loops and samples, dipping into the past while helping move hip-hop forward. We're psyched to premiere his new tape AsAbove|SoBelow, which you can download here and stream below. If you need more incentive to listen to it, the intro to one of the songs samples Homer Simpson delivering a monologue about The Alan Parsons Project, and then the song itself samples The Alan Parsons Project, which I believe was some sort of hovercraft.
