The Newtown Sessions - Jacuzzi Boys

Jacuzzi Boys played four new songs from their latest self-titled album, due September 10 on Hardly Art.

Jacuzzi Boys the pyschedelic/garage/surf-popsters, are quickly becoming rock darlings in their own right.

Their music has drawn a cult following from high and low—including the stamp of approval from punk legend Iggy Pop—as well as a fan-made NSFW video of vagina puppets from their last album, Glazin'. Either way they are winning fans around the world with their unique songs about girls, cruising, air conditioning, and "raspberry feelings."

The trio, composed of Miami natives Gabriel Alcala on guitar/vocals, drummer Diego Monasterios, and bassist Danny Gonzales, has an unmistakable sun-drenched wavy sound. It's neon glam rock with smart hooks, polished metallic glitter, and cool breezy lyrics. Imagine The Flying Burrito Brothers meets The Gun Club.
