The Scenes of Pitchfork Music Festival Day Two: Sleater-Kinney Kicked Ass, Vic Mensa Covered Future, and It Rained A Lot

Pitchfork Music Festival? More like Rainfork Music Festival! Thank you.

Well, it rained. For a moment in the afternoon, there was talk that all of Pitchfork Music Festival day two would be canceled. That's right. No Future Islands Guy dance. No badass Sleater-Kinney set. No Vic Mensa covering Future's "Codeine Crazy" (yes that is something that actually happened). But thankfully, after a quick monsoon, the music gods smiled and the clouds parted and the sun came out. People were soaked, and it was muddy, but nobody cared because the beer was flowing and the music was good. After capturing the madness of day one, Noisey photographers Petya Shalamanova and Ellie Pritts were on the ground again. See the scenes of "Rainfork" (haha!) below.
