The Tallest Man on Earth Releases "Sagres" Just in Time for that Morning Cry

The track comes from the singer-songwriter's upcoming May 12 release, 'Dark Bird Is Home.'

Ah, life. Existence. The pursuit of happiness. You, like I, probably woke up this morning, immediately checking three things: the weather forecast, your bank account, and your email. Somehow, all three managed to equally piss you off. You trudged to work, forcing your way into a cold car that probably refused to start or onto a form of public transportation, standing next to some annoying Joe Shmoe who insisted on reading that essay about commas in his copy of the 90th Anniversary New Yorker, elbowing the shit out of you which then maybe caused you to spill your coffee on your shirt—and you just fucking did laundry last night. But hey, man, it's OK. Life goes on. Pay day is soon. Spring is near. Email is… well, OK, email will always suck. As you've arrived to your office this AM, dealing with the crushing every day realities of life, The Tallest Man on Earth—moniker for singer-songwriter Kristian Matsson (who is actually very short, if you didn't know)—is here, waiting for you, with a new song to soundtrack your frustration. That new song is called "Sagres," and it's from the upcoming album he's releasing on May 12 called Dark Bird Is Home on Dead Oceans. This will be his first album since 2012.
