Yoppa Bam Shares His Brooding Video for "Nightmare"

The South Florida rapper's psychedelic visual comes from his upcoming project 'Nightbreed.'

You may have seen him on the stages of Rolling Loud or Day N Night, stage-diving and rising like a phoenix above a sea of fans. Bubbling behind every great movement in music are the gatekeepers oftentimes overlooked or unknown by the general fanbase, but worshipped by those in the know. When it comes to a new generation of South Florida rappers gaining fame like Smokepurpp, Lil Pump, and a grip of others, Yoppa Bam's brooding and psychedelic influence is stamped all over the sound, the scene, the style. It's time for Yop to make his presence known. On a recent visit to Sway In The Morning, Purpp himself name-checked Yop, "All that early shit, he right there started all that shit. This is my boy Yoppa Bam right here and before anybody popped, he was the one like setting shit up behind the scenes, making it so it can pop." Today we're hyped to premiere a new Yop record and visual, Nightmare, directed by RAHEEMISBLIND and Noisey's own Tyler Benz. Catch the video above.
