Premiere: Surf City - "Hollow Veins"

Imagine Bob Weir fronting Sonic Youth.

Surf City is a band from New Zealand. This is their new song called "Hollow Veins." It kind of sounds like Bob Weir fronting Sonic Youth, which is chill. The Greatful Dead were like, my third-favorite band (behind the Allman Brothers and Wu-Tang) in high school, to the point where I had a Dancing Bear sticker on the back of my Honda CR-V and pretended to be way more into pot than I actually was, just for street cred.

Anyways, kinda got off on a tangent there. "Hollow Veins" is definitely a slapper, and that's all I have to say about that. It's from Surf City's Jekyll Island, due out in March on Fire Records.
