Drake Showed Up at a Tiny Smoke Dawg Show in London Last Night

Skepta, Chip, Section Boyz, and Giggs also surprised the crowd.

If there is anything we know about Drake it is that, famously, he started from the bottom now he's here (here, presumably, being so famous that he's gone deluded). But sometimes, generous soul that he is, he likes to give back to the little people, and in the process hang out with his best friend Skepta and the rest of his really good and cool grime friends whose gang he is definitely a part of, OK? That appears to be what happened on Thursday night, when Drake rolled up to give a performance of "Energy" to an unsuspecting crowd, along with Skepta, Chip, Section Boyz, Giggs and Black the Ripper. Punters had paid £7 to see Canadian rapper Smoke Dawg and Londoners Nafe Smallz and Splurgeboyz x PAP at east London's XOYO show – but fans ended up getting a whole lot of added value for their entry fee. Helpfully, the good people at GRM Daily captured the moment Drake took to the stage on video:

We were tipped off about all of this by a guy who runs a Kanye West club night, and was out with a photographer who captured the shots below:

Oh and also just FYI our source requested that we please "ensure information reflects what's written above and that the correct artists social media accounts are tagged in all relevant posts", though unfortunately for him, "Smoke Dawg doesn't have Facebook." The struggle is real and a true hustler never sleeps.
