Drake Did a Medley in Dublin to Celebrate Rihanna's Birthday

Including: "Work," "Take Care," "Too Good" and a whole lot of longing.

I think about Drake quite a lot&(conservative estimate). And when I think about him, sometimes I feel sad, because I know that Drake really loves Rihanna, but is doomed never to have her. Because Rihanna is like a musical Loch Ness Monster. You catch glimpses, you share her legend with others, but you will never be able to fully capture her, and there's no proof that she even exists in the same way as the rest of us: she belongs to nobody and she is not to be possessed or caged. Her destiny is to luxuriate within her own majesty, unbothered in the Loch, forever.

But, this doesn't stop Drake from trying. On Monday night, he made a point of dedicating a portion of his Boy Meets World tour show to his one true love. Before performing a medley of their collabs – including "Work," "Take Care" and "Too Good" – he told the crowd, "It's somebody's birthday today – somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for. Instead of singing 'Happy Birthday,' we're going to set it off just like this."

And though he – like the rest of humanity – is not worthy of even being stood on by the sole of Rihanna's diamond encrusted knee high boot, this was actually quite cute of Drake. I, for once, approve this message, however I would like it known publicly that I do not endorse Drake's Jamaican accent. Thank you.
