Watch Riz Ahmed Spit "Star Wars" Rhymes on The Tonight Show

The actor and rapper proved that even the nerdiest vernacular is no match for his skills on the mic.

As one third of Indian-Pakistani-British-American rap geniuses Swet Shop Boys, Riz Ahmed is a vital voice in music right now. He also happens to be a world class actor, meaning he's just as comfortable in front of cameras as he is spitting bars on sweaty East London stages. His latest film project is the upcoming Star Wars spin off movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (released December 15 in the UK), which he swung by Wednesday's Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote. Bringing Riz's two worlds together, Fallon invited him to square up against the show's "Freestyle Generator", with a special Star Wars theme for the occasion. Backed by the show's house band The Roots, he obviously stepped up to the challenge amply, proving that even nerd words as difficult to rhyme as "Lando Calrissian" are no match for his skills on the mic. Watch Riz kill the sci-fi rap game below:
