Last night's 69th annual Emmy Awards got a grand start when host Stephen Colbert opened up the show with his own musical number. The opener was expectedly star-studded with people like Anthony Anderson, Allison Janney, and Millie Bobby Brown joining in but most unexpected appearance was probably that of Chance the Rapper. In typical Chance fashion, the Chicagoan used his platform to talk about issues bigger than the best shows on TV. During his part, Chance took on TV and rapped "I like Brooklyn Nine Nine, in fact I'm addicted/ But where's the cop show where one gets convicted?" He then added, "Bob's Burgers make you smile, but please don't ignore/ The decline of the independent family-run store." Watch the clip below.
