Mitch Harris Steps Away From Grindcore for Menace, Check Out the New Video for "Painted Rust"

Napalm Death guitarist goes heavy rock in new video clip.

Yes, Mitch Harris is involved in Menace, but this time around don't expect 10,000MPH grindcore blasting. Instead look for an entirely different trip that deals in hard rock, as exhibited by the "Painted Rust" video making it's debut here. Instead of a politically-charged theme built to showcase their brutality, Menace's video features the endlessly fascinating artwork of Kseniya Simonova, a sand artist. Check it out above, and look for the Impact Velocity LP on March 18th via Season of Mist.

As discussed, Menace is a whole different venture, focused on rock, with elements of psych, prog and an amalagam of different influences. It's a different road for the guitarist, and one he tried to categorize in a recent statement:

Menace, the venture by NAPALM DEATH guitarist Mitch Harris. It's an artistic medium, a vehicle where different kinds of artists collaborate towards a common goal of inspiring hope, change, and creating something positive from something negative. It's a style, which is difficult to categorize, combining elements from a multitude of genres. the melodic vocal approach by Mitch Harris takes the listener through an emotional journey, through heartfelt storyboards that inspire art and creativity.

Look for Shane Embury, Derek Roddy and others to lend Mitch a hand on the LP.

Furthermore, you can support Simonova's amazing sand talents by giving to a Ukranian Children's Cancer charity.
