If you're a fan of AC/DC, you're likely familiar with their most iconic music video. No, not the one for "Thunderstruck," though that one ROCKS. Or the "Back in Black" video which, yes, is also sweet. We're talking about the video for "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'N' Roll)," which is the one where the band is rocking out on a flatbed truck as it drives through the city, complete with bagpipes and everything. Well, The Smith Street Band recently paid homage to the classic video by recreating the scene in their video for "Shine."Now, they could've rolled through their hometown of Footscray, Australia, on the back of a moving flatbed and we all would've gotten the gist. But The Smith Street Band went the extra mile, quite literally, and recruited the original director Paul Drane to shoot it. Let's do some side-by-side comparisons, shall we?Mmm, that's some good throwback. Check out the video for "Shine" above.
