How are you feeling today? A little restless maybe? Kind of done with the week? Perhaps you need some sounds to bathe in to take your mind off it. If so, I would like to humbly suggest the new cover of The Velvet Underground's "After Hours" by Katie Crutchfield of Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby for this purpose.

Posted on Crutchfield's Tumblr page earlier today, she shared the track on Twitter with the caption "the world is a dark place. here's a cover of "after hours" @kevinmorby." It's a sweet, dual vocal affair which is faithful to the original, and is best described as gentle and soothing, just like a really good head massage. It's also not the first cover version Crutchfield and Morby have done together: they previously joined forces on tour for a live cover of Everclear's "Santa Monica." Hear "After Hours" here and feel lighter.
