INVSN is, errr, invading. On September 24th, the Swedish post-punk band INVSN will release their English self-titled debut record. Previously, the group had recorded a few records in their native tongue under the name of Invasionen, but this is their first venture out into the English speaking world. Here, take a listen to "The Promise," a bouncy, guitar-driven track with meloncholy lyrics. "It is still all the same; the same old promise, the same old lies that I despise," vocalist Dennis Lyxzén croons. But don't get too sad—underneath those shoegaze-y riffs you might find some hidden hopefulness.
