Listen to Future's "Mask Off" Remix with Kendrick Lamar

Cornrow Kenny for the win.

How many new renditions of "Mask Off" do we have to get before we're tired of the song? It actually doesn't matter because we never will be. Since the song's release on Future's self-titled album in February, there's been no shortage of fans trying their hand at covering it, whether that be with violins, flutes, or just their voices. Even with all those attempts, we've yet to get an official remake of the song by Future—until today.

Early this morning, the superstar Atlanta rapper, sent out a fairly-cryptic tweet that read "FBG x TDE #maskoff." It was only right to assume that the best possible outcome was around the corner—a Kendrick Lamar and Future remix of the song. A few hours later that proved to be true. On the remix, Future's verse doesn't change but K Dot gives a range of his abilities, including his famed falsetto that he let loose on Travis Scott's "Goosebumps." Kendrick takes a few fun jabs at the industry too: "How y'all let a conscious nigga go commercial while only making conscious albums? How y'all let the braids on TV? How y'all let the hood at the table?" Listen for yourself below.
