Boston rapper Cousin Stizz's first two releases—Suffolk County and Monda, both in 2016—showcased a consciously laid-back brand of trap with loose beats and a frictionless delivery. "Shoutout" and "No Bells," two of those early hits, were borderline hypnotic when pieced together. With the release today of "Headlock," Stizz inches that format further, inviting Offset onto the track to at some punctuation to the track. The Migo's ad-libs and more active delivery frame Stizz perfectly.The track comes alongside the announcement of a new mixtape, One Night Only, out May 12.
