The Oh Sees Announce New Single and Album, Change Name to Oh Sees

"The Static God" is the first track from 'Orc,' due August 25.

The artists formerly known as Thee Oh Sees are returned. They've dropped the Thee for a more streamlined approach, now going simply by Oh Sees, and they also have a new single to share. "The Static God" is the first track from their new album Orc, which will release on August 25. It'll be their 19th record in total, and 2017 marks 20 years of the band, so you know it's a big deal.

"The Static God" is as urgent as the project has ever been, proving that even after two decades John Dwyer's ever-changing vision has very much still got it—if 'it' is riffs in abundance. Listen below and have your face melted off like it's 1997:
