Jessie Ware's "Alone" Video is Understated and Nicely Furnished

It's the third single from 'Glasshouse,' coming October 20.

If you're into excellent pop music and beautiful furnishings, then please look no further than Jessie Ware's new video for "Alone," the third in her campaign for her upcoming album Glasshouse, following visuals for "Selfish Love" and "Midnight." It's a mid-tempo banger, the sort at which Jessie is a master, and as usual, she's flexing her range all over the place. The chorus is huge and as far as pop songs go, it gets a pretty objective thumbs up.

The video takes things up a notch, and sees Jessie literally 'alone' (do you understand? Because the song is called "Alone." Do you see?) in kind of unspeakably gorgeous surroundings that look like they belong to an evil millionaire who was once also a university professor in like, literature or something. Jessie herself is wearing something that is outrageous whilst also still managing to look awesome, and in general the whole operation is executed very nicely indeed. When I grow up, I hope this is my #aesthetic (instead of my current one which is mostly The Craft (1996) meets teenage boy). See the video above.
