Diddy Shares a Heartfelt Message to the Notorious B.I.G. on the 20th Anniversary of His Death

“Time heals all wounds, but this wound ain’t heal yet.”

Today marks 20 years since hip-hop legend The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered during a visit to Los Angeles. The Brooklyn emcee's two studio albums Ready to Die and Life After Death are two of the most celebrated albums in hip-hop history and a constant source of inspiration for aspiring artists. His success made it possible for Bad Boy to become the musical powerhouse that it did and today, Diddy tweeted out a video tribute to fallen friend.

"This year is more of a sobering year," Diddy said in the tribute. "For us, we lived 20 years of our lives without somebody that has been a big part of our lives. That has basically been responsible for the legend of our careers. He's fed a lot of families, made a lot of people dance, made a lot of people feel good."

He ended the video by sending love to Biggie's mom Voletta Wallace, his children, Faith Evans, and fans who have supported him over the years. "Time heals all wounds, but this wound ain't heal yet," he ended. Watch the video below.
