Damn, the FYF 2017 Lineup Is Way Better Than Coachella

Frank Ocean, Bjork, Missy Elliott and more fill out a stacked lineup for this year's expanded fest in LA.

The 2017 FYF lineup is out early this year, and damn, have you seen this thing? The LA festival, now in its 14th year, has long been a boutique favorite, but this year organizers FYF and Goldenvoice are have kicked up their ambitions: Frank Ocean, Bjork, Nine Inch Nails, and Missy Elliott—with her only scheduled gig of 2017—are set to headline the newly-expanded three-day fest, giving that *ahem* other Goldenvoice festival a run for its money. Hopefully Frank will show up this time. FYF 2017 also moves up a month early from its usual end of summer August hurrah to Friday, July 21 through Sunday, July 23, back at LA's Exposition Park.

FYF will also bring back its beloved comedy stage, which has been absent from the festival since 2013, to be headed up by Hannibal Buress. Additional highlights include Blonde Redhead performing their albumA Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and the US debuts of Helena Hauff and Nadia Rose.
