Death Grips have announced that they are working with Lucas Abela, an Australian musician and artist known for shredding his face with glass fitted with contact microphones.

The experimental band from Sacramento made the announcement on Facebook yesterday alongside a photograph of Abela biting a plate of glass.

Abela began performing with glass as Justice Yeldman, named after an Australian judge who committed suicide, and operates the experimental label dualpLOVER.

A post made on the Justice Yeldman facebook account earlier todays says, "Passing through Sacramento last month stopped in to visit Zach [Hill} and laid down some track for death grips to ride."

In 2010, Yeldman and Death Grips drummer Zach Hill collaborated as part of a performance in Sydney.

Whatever Abela and Death Grips have cooked up it promises to be bloody interesting. Sorry.
