Watch Vic Mensa Talk About Why He Signed with Roc Nation

The Chicago star will appear on tonight's episode of 'The Therapist.'

Vic Mensa has shared his thoughts with the public more than ever this year around the release of his debut album, The Autobiography, which dropped over the summer. Tonight, we may get a chance to learn even more of Chicago rapper's innermost thoughts as he sits down with Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh on The Therapist. In the deleted scene above, Singh asks Mensa how it felt to be recruited and signed by his idol JAY-Z's record label, Roc Nation. "I felt that mentality—that self-aware and poignant perspective—embodied why I started to do that in the first place," he said in response. "It's ultimately inspiring to be around my idols. But the reason I even decided to align myself with that company and those people is because I felt like that's where I'm going." A little confidence never hurt anybody. Watch the clip above and catch The Therapist tonight at 10:30pm EST on VICELAND.
