Behold Lil Yachty Rapping About The Simpsons For Three Minutes

"Everything's coming up Milhouse... d'oh!"

Lil Yachty is nothing if not committed. Last night (Thursday June 15) on an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he showed up in a pre-recorded segment, which saw him rap about not one or two, but a cool 59 characters from The Simpsons. The clip also features The Roots, accompanying Yachty by playing what is essentially the contemporary lounge version of the Simpsons theme song, so you know it's gotta be at least halfway lit.

Weirdly, this feels like the most Lil Yachty thing Lil Yachty could possibly have ever done (I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner to be real), and, thankfully, it is everything I'm sure you hoped for when you read the above headline about Yachty rapping about The Simpsons. I feel sad that this is not on Lil Yachty's album, that's how good and on brand it is.

Choice bars include:

Grampa's yelling at clouds
Willie's really keeping busy keeping the grounds

*Airhorn noise*

Like Brockman, gimme a Duff, man
I wanna take a Malk but I wanna get drunk, man
Barney's the barfly at Moe's who falls
Down while Mike Rotch gives phony calls

*Extremely airhorn noise*

I got more lines than Bart with chalk,
I spit more lines than Maggie's talked,
That's 59 names with more to report, Bort
Until next time, "Eat my shorts!"

Awwwww yea.

Hopefully he'll be on again next week to do Bob's Burgers.
