The Dallas rapper returns for her sixth project 'Doll SZN,' leading with "Arm Froze."

Crowning herself as "Queen of the Teens," Dallas' Asian Doll is giving the world more of her Southern drawl bouncing over bodacious beats. 'Doll SZN,' out today, is proof she could grow past the virality of Rise of the Barbie Gang Empire. Five mixtapes in, Asian Doll is making her mark as something other than just a fixture of hip-hop's dollhouse. With a handful of projects in under two years, her Dallas-bred but Atlanta-based style is fitting for rap's current climate, and she's not afraid to show that on "Arm Froze."

"Arm Froze" is as much fun as you can have in three minutes, which sort've feels like Asian's way of pointing out that no one is really as cool as she is. Can you blame her? On the hook she denounces diamonds (VVS' blind hoes / I'm so beyond those) and is ready to change time zones faster than you could afford to. "Arm Froze" is frigid, not just in terms of ice, but attitude. After a laundry list of reasons why Asian Doll is ascending, she makes sure you know your place: "Hood girl but I'm bougie / Ew, don't touch me bitch, you probably got cooties." Her sixth and latest project, Doll SZN, is available today.
