Matthew Progress' "Lemon Pepper" Is a 4D Hip-House Dream

The Toronto MC drops another pulsating video from 'Slumber Magic War,' shot in otherworldly monochrome with 3D cameras.

Matthew Progress is still gearing up for the release of his Slumber Magic War EP, dropping another video following "Sip Test." "Lemon Pepper" is a non-stop rave like Progress' other selections, and the clip elevates that simple, effective premise with a novel visual style.

Like Radiohead's "House of Cards" video, "Lemon Pepper" was shot on a 3D camera, which means that we get ghostly wireframes of ordinary environs, meant to "reference the separation of spirit and body, and the limbo space between life and afterlife," according to a press release. It's really cool and it's also one of the last videos that was helped by the MuchFACT grant before it was killed by the CRTC. Watch "Lemon Pepper" above.
