Remember when everyone chirped Drake for the Views cover? The one with him photoshopped onto the edge of Toronto’s most famous landmark? Yeah, well, never again: last night marked the eighth iteration Drizzy’s OVOFest, and, as you’ve probably read through the interwebs by now, Drake brought down the house on his haters.
Not only did he surprise the audience with an absurd number of cameos from major artists during his two hour set (there were appearance from The Weeknd, Cardi B, French Montana, Rae Sremmurd, Nelly, and Travis Scott, just to name a few), he also brought out a massive, near-life-sized replica of the CN Tower observation deck to perform on—equipped with lights, smoke, and a lot of pyrotechnics. How it was designed and built is still something we’re trying to figure out. In case you didn’t make it to the show (a lot of you probably, considering how high resold tickets were going for), don’t worry. Witness the beautiful gallery below.
