Watch Liz Phair Play "Fuck and Run" with Best Coast at a Planned Parenthood Fundraiser

They also played Best Coast's “When I'm With You.”

Liz Phair's 1993 debut Exile in Guyville is one of the best indie rock albums ever. That's worth mentioning now because, though the 49-year-old has strayed an awfully long way from that magic on her last few records, she's currently recording at PAX-AM studios with Ryan Adams as producer. If they can bring the best out of each other, we could end up with a fun as hell double album from Phair this year.

Last night, Phair was the guest of honor at a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in Los Angeles which featured Grouplove, MUNA, Wavves the Regrettes, and half of Veruca Salt. Extremely pro-California quartet Best Coast were also on the bill and Phair joined them for two tracks. Watch performances below of Best Coast's "When I'm With You" and Phair's standout Exile… cut "Fuck and Run."
