Playboi Carti's "*wokeuplikethis" Video Is a Clout Manifesto

Playboi Carti's self-titled album is one of the year's surprise highlights, ushering in the era of #clout and ad libs for all who are down with Carti's vision. He's so far dropped only one video for mega hit "Magnolia" and now he has one for older Lil Uzi Vert collab "*wokeuplikethis." Both are produced by Pi'erre Bourne, the man who arguably makes Carti what he is.

The video for "*wokeuplikethis" features Carti and Uzi in a prison and in a black void, getting their hair done and whatnot. Uzi is literally holding an Uzi, and Carti is wearing the Kurt Cobain-inspired #clout goggles his SoundCloud peers have made famous. You can watch the video above.
