Rugby Wild Finds a Perfect Summer Flow on "Scuffs"

It's the latest single from his forthcoming double-album, 'Millennials.'

Rugby Wild's forthcoming double album, Millennials, is billed as a summer record about growing up and living in the moment, combining breezy Californian influences with New York lyricism. The album's first track, "Topanga," was a sweet balance between the two, the New Jersey rapper flowing over a maximal beat and some buried slap bass. But the latest track from the project, "Scuffs," premiering on Noisey today, is the best yet. The bass is heavier, the flow is more precise, but it's still light enough to stick around as a summer track. Actually, it's perfect for rolling around New York, smoking weed, and drinking beer on top of buildings, just as Rugby Wild does in the video. Check it out above.
