Henry Green Is All About Movement On His New Single "Another Light"

The rising producer shares a track from his upcoming debut album, out in March.

"We're constantly moving in some manner, at some pace… whether its physically or emotionally. This year was all about progression and change for me, so I found myself constantly gravitating towards that idea of movement in my lyrics.”

Today Bristol-based electro crooner Henry Green is celebrating the announcement of his debut album Shift by sharing his new song “Another Light” which appears on the album. Like the rest of his recent work, “Another Light” is a deceptively energetic display of minimalistic production that captures your attention without forcing itself on you.

It’s another great step for the artist influenced by the likes of Discovery, Jai Paul, and Jon Hopkins as he moves further away from the guitar sounds that characterized his initial releases and establishes himself more as a skilled producer.

According to Henry, the track was created in an intense moment: "I had a really vivid image/moment in mind when I wrote "Another Light".I was sat on a silent beach in the early hours of the morning, slightly hazy from the lack of sleep and I wanted to write about the whirlwind of colours and textures, both in the landscape but also in my mind at that moment. So much change had happened in such a short amount of time and I was just reflecting on it all."

Shift is out March 30th via Akira Records. Listen to “Another Light” below.
