Headbang to a New Self-Titled Track from Melvins/At the Drive In Supergroup, Crystal Fairy

It comes ahead of the band's self-titled debut album, out February 24.

The At the Drive In/Le Butcherettes/Melvins supergroup Crystal Fairy have been fairly quiet since they initially announced their inception. In October, they shared "Drugs on the Bus" and announced a self-titled album, which will be birthed into the world like a very loud, riffy baby on February 24 via Ipecac – not much else has been said since then. But now that date edges closer, the band – made up of At the Drive In/The Mars Volta mastermind Omar Rodríguez-López, the Melvins' Buzz Osborne and Dale Crover, and singer Teri Gender Bender of La Butcherettes – have shared another new track, and here's some advice: do some neck stretches, because it's a banger. Fitting nicely into each member's legacy of rip roaring rock'n'roll, "Crystal Fairy" features driving guitar and a defiant bassline which Gender Bender's haunting vocal creepy crawls all over. The track signals fun things to come from the album, and (finally) a return to form for hard rock.
