Watch This Bon Iver Concert In Full and Cry, Just In Time For Christmas

Justin Vernon and co. have blessed us with one whole hour of songs to make you peer deep inside your soul.

Chances are, you're home for Christmas and you're already kind of bored. There are only so many Quality Streets you can eat, only so much EastEnders you can watch (it's not been as good since the glory years of Barry and Janine, after all). And if you've exhausted our list of highly recommended entertainments to keep you going over the festive season, I'd like to point you in the direction of this, a Bon Iver concert from earlier this month, which has now been released in full, on film, by the good people over at NPR. The show, which took place at Brooklyn's Pioneer Works on December 4, saw Justin Vernon and co. playing a set which consisted mostly of tracks from their third album 22, A Million, as well as a couple of old favourites ("Creature Fear", "Minnesota, WI" and "Calgary") from their two previous records, and it's atmospheric and entrancing in that way that only Bon Iver can do. So if you're at a loose end this festive season, you could do worse than wrapping yourself in a blanket and having a nice big ugly cry to the enveloping sound of a full Bon Iver concert – arguably the best way to get into the Christmas spirit!  Watch below:
