Everyone's favourite Australian electronic music recluses have come even further out of hiding today. After releasing Wildflower earlier this year, their first record in 16 years, The Avalanches have now shared another new track which appears to be a discarded album cut, via Soundcloud. "Bad Day" is as peppy as we've come to expect from the neo-psychedelic duo, and features Freddie Gibbs rapping over the top of a hypnotic instrumental. Described as "a Christmas jam for you all," whilst it's not quite "Deck the Halls," it is exactly what you need to get you out of your cold weather funk right now – it's summer in Australia, after all.
