Style Rider: Tamaryn Wants You to Fuck Off While She's Sleeping

Last fall, pop chanteuse Tamaryn released a new kind of pop album for the world to hear. Cranekiss was an intimate record with shimmering pop hooks stemming from the 80s and 90s. It showed off Tamaryn’s love for vibrancy, sensuality and synth. What’s so cool about Tamaryn is that she’s unafraid to be herself, evolve and show off her talent for ethereal songwriting. On her latest release, Tamaryn showed she was limitless in exploring her creativity—something that seemed to restrain her previously. Freedom is also something that seems to shine through her fashion on tour.

Below, Tamaryn talks about all of the things she needs to stay fresh and colorful on the road.

For the most part I wear reflective fabrics on stage to play with the lights and projections. Here is a photo I took recently while packing for a West Coast tour.

My most essential beauty product is Stila Magnificent Metals Foil in Comex Copper, Black Gold and Metallic Emerald.

I carry around this Black Tourmaline wand with me on tour to help keep me grounded, soothe my anxiety and help protect me from draining interactions. I also usually have a black candle with me on tour as well that helps with similar issues.
