Here is The Men's New Video for "Electric," Recorded Live in London
The song is the first cut we're hearing from their upcoming long-player 'New Moon,' out on Sacred Bones Records March 5.
Here at Noisey, we've got a serious band crush on the Men. This could be because, as Anthony Pappalardo has noted, music critics are all secretly hard rockers. Regardless, the critical establishment's favorite zoned-out punk act just put out a seven-inch for their the fuzzy new track "Electric" through Sacred Bones Records. The song is the first cut we're hearing from the Men's upcoming long-player New Moon, out on the same label March 5.
They just sent us this live video of the song, recorded at London's Shackwell Arms in June of last year, a few months after they'd returned from New York's Catskill Mountain (the band had moved upstate to produce New Moon, which is their fourth record). The footage was filmed by Teresa Dorothea, a Brooklyn artist who dates their new bassist, vocalist, and co-songwriter Ben Greenberg. Sorry if that kills some of the rock 'n' roll mystique around these guys.
